It's weird. The dissertation was totally finished before I went to bed last night... yet today I was more stressed than ever before. I felt ill when I was waiting for it to be bound, and then after I returned home (and even now a few hours later) I felt light-headed and just weird. Usually my stress only manifests itself in physical ways (headaches and such) and not bitchy head-biting... which is what I had today. I guess it's just built up so much that now it can be released.
Going for a drink tonight, just a quick, quiet one. However, the work isn't over yet, I have a seminar presentation to do by Monday. So I'll skim-read some books tonight before the meeting with one other group member (we don't feel there's any point asking the other two) and then make a powerpoint presentation and outline of a script ahead of Monday morning. Soon I'll have to do some revision before exams... but at least I can spend more time brushing up on my Japanese and arsing around on the Xbox.
Anyway, I'll leave you with a couple of things. Firstly, if you liked Far Cry, or want to see some mouth-watering CGI from the sequel to Crytek's original engine, look here: http://uk.media.pc.ign.com/media/694/694190/imgs_1.html. An interesting point is that the guys in it are Jieitai (Japanese Self-Defence Force)... There needs to be a Battle Royale game... That would be fun. Oh, and the second thing is from my dissertation. Here is the geographical scope of my 36-person strong, stratified final sample:
